Specifications

FotoFluid is a premixed powder composed of light-coloured cement, produced with selected inert silica aggregates and special additives. It is designed for road pavements and suitable for any application requiring the flexibility of asphalt combined with the durability of cement. The selected raw materials give the compound excellent photocatalytic properties.

The properties of the formulation enable the oxidation of pollutants and their subsequent conversion into harmless residual substances.

Type of surface

FotoFluid is applied on a bituminous asphalt base with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 4 cm.
The asphalt mix must provide intergranular drainage spaces that allow the photocatalytic cement to accumulate in layers of varying depth depending on the granulometry of the substrate.

Preparation of the mixture

The premixed powder is added to water in a proportion between 20% and 30% to obtain the proper level of fluidity, allowing the mixture to penetrate the intergranular drainage spaces.

Application of the mixture

The mixture is applied so that it penetrates the surface while leaving a thin layer on the road pavement. Drying times may vary depending on climatic conditions.
